This book is such a great read!!! A cup of jo's writing style is unique and helps readers understand how the poem is meant to be read rather than using your standard periods, commas, semicolons and exclamation points.
She's truly poetic and transparent. This is a great read for women who are trying to find someone who can relate to them and men who actually wants to understand women in a greater detail. My favorite pieces are "Funeral" & "Respectless". I truly recommend this book.
This book is wonderful. Honest in a way only the author could truly understand, it is refreshing and welcomed even in between its toughest lines to read through. Cup of Jo grips the painful parts of herself and allows them to reign onto the pages in her unconventional nature. The experience of absorbing this book is worth more than the price - easily.
What this book lacks in pages makes up for in empowerment. Loved it.
